The staff are so friendly and polite. The sweet treats are amazingly delicious and the hot choc is so rich!! I'd go again :D I got a carrot cake ; my friends got blondies and said they were yummy too

Found this great little cafe on a Google search whilst out delivering for The Acorn Gallery. They have a good range of filled sandwiches and croissants, also teas, coffees and cakes! Very friendly staff and stylish modern decor, have saved to my favourites for next time we’re passing :)
10 out of 10. The first impression of this coffee shop is absolutely perfect, great atmosphere, good size, music is good. And of course the coffee and cakes are delicious! Lovely staff too, very friendly and happy. We will definitely be regulars from now on

I've pretty much been going since it opened, and throughout the lockdown when it was take away only. The atmosphere is great, always clean inside, places to sit outside, I've pretty much experienced the entire menu. One of my favourites is the Jacket Potato and Coronation Chicken.
Don't be put off by the concrete square outside. It seriously is the best coffee shop, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.- Service

I needed coffee having arriving early for funeral on Sunday. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was surprised that the coffee was so good( black decaf) the scone was also good and the jam was Tiptree which I use at home. ( I would recommend ginger conserve to the cafe owners. There was an obvious friendly buzz! Thanks.

Nice to have something hipsterish in the village, I mean, I like Greggs but it's seating is often populated with people talking on maximum volume with dogs yapping - by contrast, eating inside 18 was a happy pleasant affair, with tasty goodies and good coffee. Will happily go again.

What a gem of a place nestled in Calverton village. The staff are really friendly, the coffee is excellent with a good range of alternative milks. The food is absolutely amazing with generous portion sizes. It was my first visit but it won't be my last! I've already recommended it to friends. Thank you.

Went for a coffee and a sandwich for lunch, had a very nice latte and a warm croissant with ham and cheese. Lots of comfortable seating inside, and lots of options on the menu. Good fresh made food for sandwiches and cakes. Can get very busy at lunch time! Will certainly go again.

I’m a regular here and it’s always amazing AND I was sat just near the counter and remember exactly who were (thanks to the reference to your dog) and your interaction with the lad behind the counter. Firstly, a caramel latte is £3.70 (not £4.60) as I drink them myself all the time.
And when you asked the lad if your baguette could be heated up, his reply was “no problem”. So please stop slating honest working people who are just trying to do their job and have a nice day doing it. I was going to leave a review anyways and came across your abomination!!
And judging by your other reviews, you clearly have a habit of leaving UNWORTHY bad reviews for small businesses doing a great service to their communities, and encouraging big greedy conglomerates instead. Shame on you!!

We popped in at closing time on new years day...unfazed, the lovely staff made us really great cappuccinos to have with our excellent sausage rolls. The selection of home made cakes meant that we felt compelled to follow up with a piece of cake each...would have been rude not to ! Would thoroughly recommend on every level, a real find.
I love this little local cafe - lovely coffee and food, brilliant value and super friendly service. The jacket potato is really good, as are all the bakery items, and breakfast are cobs also brilliant. Highly recommended!
